Hi Everyone!
My name is Isabelle Kuhn, and I am a currently a Registered Nurse in New Hampshire with a strong background in healthcare, nutrition, and community service. I hold a degree in Nutrition & Dietetics with a minor in Psychology, as well as a Master’s in Nursing. Between my degrees, I volunteered for three months in Ghana, Africa, where I helped feed and teach local children, an experience that deepened my commitment to wanting to help people globally. I also continue to volunteer with Gather, an organization that repurposes food to support those in need.
During my time as a student, I completed a Quality Improvement project on enhancing emergency department discharge medication comprehension. My thesis was successfully published, and was able to reflect my dedication to improving patient education and outcomes. At my current job, I bring this same passion to my practice while continuing to grow as a clinician.
Outside of work, I enjoy outdoor activities like hiking and paddle boarding, volunteering locally, and I am passionate about sharing evidence-based nutrition insights. I am eager to further my career goals of becoming a Trauma RN in the Air Force and advancing to eventually help people globally with various healthcare practices.
Growing up I was raised in a family that valued healthy eating and overall wellness, which laid the foundation for my passion for health and nutrition. During high school, I suffered a basketball injury that initially led to an unhealthy relationship with food. Instead of allowing that setback to define me, I chose to turn it into an opportunity to learn. I ended up educating myself on proper nutrition and healing through balanced, nourishing choices. This experience not only helped me recover physically and mentally but also ignited a desire to help others through evidence-based nutrition. That pivotal moment inspired me to pursue a degree in Nutrition & Dietetics, setting the stage for my broader commitment to healthcare and patient education.
This journey shaped my belief that food is the true beginning to all healing. When we begin improving our diet, lifestyle, and physical well-being, we can create meaningful, lasting change that often surpasses the need for medication. I believe medications can serve as temporary solutions, but true transformation comes when we address the root causes through healthy choices and self-discipline. Everything starts with you: your mindset, your choices, and your resilience. Your mind can be your greatest enemy, but once you conquer your own doubts and limitations, nothing can hold you back, only yourself.
